So, are you ready for my uncensored review of what I really thought about
Truth about Abs by Mike Geary.
Note that this is a review, if you’re looking for the
Truth About Abs website then
Click Here. Why am I writing this? Well, when I was thinking about buying
Mike Geary’s Truth about Abs, there weren’t many real reviews around. So I thought I would write one quickly to help anyone who are in the same position that I was.
Be warned, I’ll be pointing out and going into both good and bad points, so if that’s something you might not want to hear then you may as well leave now.
Ok, so this is my
The Truth about Abs review; is this book a scam?
Today’s society has the image of what is the perfect body; be it man or woman. Part of this perfect image we have is the chiseled six pack abs.
One thing i certainly have noticed over the years of training is that there seems to be a new body beautiful system out every month or two; each of these will promise the perfect body. Each give advice and routines to follow BUT how may of these actually deliver on that promise. I know I have a few abs exercise machines scattered around my house.
Then I found something that made sense; something I could follow that gave me the truth about 6 pack abs. This book was The Truth About Abs written by Mike Geary.
Truth About AbsThis book aims to guide and educate its readers on the path towards perfect abs. Be warned though, this is no magic pill, no shortcut method. On the contrary; it educates readers to a healthy approach; an approach that will last as long as you follow it.
The book is packed with quality content on the right ways to follow to aim towards getting the perfect abs. It covers both exercise and nutrition; the combo of which it advocates as being needed to get those six pack abs. Another warning, this is not necessary a get a six pack fast guide; people will developer those perfect abs at different rates dependent on them – however this gives you the system to follow.
The Truth About Abs – Diet and WorkoutAs I touched on already in this review, this system advocates a good diet as one element towards a 6 pack. This book aims to educate its readers on what is good and even includes meal combinations to keep your health good enough to maintain your abs once you have that six pack.
The great thing about this book are the exercises. The exercise regimen in the book is based on years of experience Mike Geary has gained as a fitness trainer.
There are many pictorial examples of the exercises in the book to ensure you get them right. There are more than a dozen exercises for abs so you can always find the perfect ones for you. There are also other fitness exercises which aim to improve general fitness and health giving that rounded fitness.
The aim is to give the readers a 6 pack that will last.
On the negative side; the books doesn’t have an appealing aesthetic value (but many books in this field don’t) and the author does sometimes get ahead of himself using abbreviations before explaining them which can be frustrating.
Some would also say that exercises in this book could be found online. This is true; they could be found by searching for Abs Exercises so you may think of this as a negative. One point I need to make is that, yes they could be found but would be hidden in the hundreds or more other abs exercises. Though they would not be part of an abs exercise system that works; this book includes the exercises and routines in such a regime that works.
The conclusion I have drawn up is that I believe getting and maintaining a six pack is an achievable feat and that this book is a true gem. For me this maybe the best how to get ripped abs guide I have read.
